It has come to my attention that some users are having some serious trouble finding Aguamenti. A user with 200+ energy was trying to find it for days, I'm not kidding.
If I'm not mistaken, it took me a while to get one too. When I get stuck with a spell that doesn't come up, I usually take a breather and try to do other lessons that give out spells as well, just to see if spells are coming up. Then I go back to the lesson and try again.

I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but I can't get Aguamenti. I've done the quest for it 100's of times and I never get it.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I contacted the developer, he said everything is fine from the coding stand point. Must be some real bad luck. Sorry about that. Keep trying.

ReplyDeleteI understand you frustration. Another user sent me FB message too, he's been trying to find it for days. He finally got one yesterday.
ReplyDeleteTry doing other lessons that give out spells just to make sure your account isn't jinxed. Then go back to the lesson and try again.
Dangit, I got aguamenti after a few tries, then LOST it when i did "refresh account" after buying new property didn't update my rent amounts. DOH! Just a warning to others....don't do what i did!

I'm having trouble finding Accio. I'm on level 24 and mastered the Making the annoying muggle aunt inflate and havent received a single Accio. Any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteI finished the lvl 3 third year mastery, got golden griffin and where lvl 50+
ReplyDeleteThen there where some kind of glitch, went back to lvl 42, kept the lvl 3 third year mastery progress but lost the golden griffin and ofcourse lots of other items. The funny part is that I can't get the griffin back since lvl 3 is already finished..
Could someone please restore it?
Why that aguamenti finding chance %6. Cant they upgrade to %10 or %15 it is so difficult... And i started to be angry about this. oh my god!!!!

ReplyDelete@ Johan - There's been a problem with the servers and we're not out of the woods yet according to the post the Developer left on the application wall. I would personally postpone any purchase at this moment be it properties or items until the situation is completely solved.
ReplyDelete@ sadrazam155 - Yeah there's a random element to getting them. Yes it's hard. But it's not impossible. A hard to get magic is an obstacle you have to overcome. It's like a boss fight. Save up enough energy and you'll get the spell you want.

I am currently in third year and I cannot get another Accio for some reason. I checked the magic store to see if any spells were sold but it was no longer available.
ReplyDeleteIf you've saved up enough money to buy all your magic items at once, so you avoid inflation (and I think this is about the first level at which you'll be able to do that), you'll need $655,000.
ReplyDeleteAround the time I complete year three lessons/hit level 25, my account resets, and I lose most of my hall passes, half of my real estate, many of my purchased items and a great deal of my money in the bank. Anyone have any suggestions?!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get the Aguamentis spell several times a day for over a week now... I am able to get spells from other lessons, but cant seem to get this one... WTH? I cant move forward in the game until I get it, and a friend who has it, and is way ahead of me says I am going to need more then one of the spell... What am I supposed to do if I never get this spell???
ReplyDeleteI got Aguamenti the first time I did that lesson. It was much harder for me to get Reparo, which has a bigger chance of getting it (20% - 6%)... I think it's a question of luck ;)
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible to update your Blog to reflect the current names of items? Some of the non-magic ones aren't hard to figure out (aka no more motorcycles), but the magic ones are particularly hard to discern with the new names being so different from the old. Thanks so much, your blog has really helped me to catch up to my friends!! :D

ReplyDeleteI am about ready to give up on this game. I have been trying all week to get the Water Jet spell, I had it before the change over and it just went away. This is horrible, I just waste my time, and energy!
ReplyDeleteblissonheaven, MagnoliaBeauty is correct. The game is transitioning to new names for several required items. It would be helpful to update this guide to reflect those new object names when time allows. It is a wonderful resource nonetheless.
